thanks for stopping by.
so here is the part where i am supposed to tell you a bit about myself, so here goes, in case you'd like to know ;)
so, i'm a 30-something mom of two, a full-time photographer, sometimes artist, bit of a dreamer (i'm told), and i like travelling, listening to books while i edit, snuggling with my kids and my husband and Luna my dog.
right brained, left winged, mostly frazzled, i'm an INFP personality and my Hogwarts House is Slytherin. Of course, you needed to know that.
light makes sense to me. that's probably why i followed the path to photography. i love playing with, searching for and bending rules with natural light.
always i strive to avoid the cliche, to be creative and original,
to capture for my clients their most precious moments in a unique and truthful way and give them images that they can treasure forever.
i live in the gorgeous wine country of the breede valley in the western cape, but as mentioned, i love traveling, so i'm available all over the country and internationally.
connection is important to me; it's something i strive towards and believe in. that is what i want to capture, freeze and hold, forever. those moments of connection, where emotion lives.
love inspires me as an artist, this is why i love capturing weddings in particular, as well as lifestyle sessions.
photography allows me to savour the things i hold precious in this life..moments, memories, love itself, people...the moments in between...a whispered word, a fleeting glance.
photographing people holds a special place in my heart, particularly when emotions are high and moments are big.
mostly i work in and around the Western Cape Winelands, including Paarl, Stellenbosch, Franschhoek, Rawsonville, and Durbanville. my main focus is Wedding Photography, but, i am also available for portrait photography, family photoshoots, newborn photography and maternity photography.
i studied photography at the Stellenbosch Academy of Photography and Design.
my style has been described as creative, natural, fine art and dreamy, a combination of photojournalistic/ documentary style - capturing the day/event as it unfolds in real and truthful images - and editorial - creatively composed images.
i'd love to capture something precious for you.
totsiens, hamba kalhe, good bye
